I love the Air I breathe, it gives me life
I love the feel of water, it’s the calming spirit
I love the sound of rain, it’s the true meaning of rhythm and beats
I love the smell of the dust, it’s the perfume of the earth
I love the sound of the breeze, it’s the music of love
I love the sound of the oceans, it’s the music of lust
I love the taste of salt, it’s the strongest sweetener of life
I love the look of flowers, it sprouts true beauty
I love nature, it’s the eyes of my Lord.
And your poetry :
“Like an Oasis in a Desert”.
Marvelous work. I am blessed as I came across these poetic blogs as they can uplift one’s gloomy thoughts.

Whenever I hear the sound of the rain & the thunder, it simply brings back memories of warmth feelings.

Yes it’s actually quite calming.
But I must say, I hate it when everywhere gets mushy and sticky.
It can’t all be a win win, I guess.

I love to be out in nature. I regularly park at the lake here. Sometimes take a walk, but, often just sit & look at the water, hills, trees, ducks & geese. Beautiful scenery, calming & serene.

Great poem – Great metaphorical imagery used. I especially enjoyed your use of oxymoron; comparing, the taste of salt to the strongest sweetener of life. Brilliant 😃
